I've had some trouble posting the last ultrasound pictures to the blog, so sorry about the delay. I finally had to enlist assistance from the man of the house, and finally now I can show them to you. They're not as clear as the first ones, but nevertheless, they're still our little girl :-)

Gosh, I hope she still turns out to be a girl at the next ultrasound- we've been calling her "her" ever since the last one so if she happens to be a boy he'll definitely be born with some kind of gender issues :-)

This picture was taken during the first part of the scan when she was facing towards my spine- not necessarily a "cute" picture, she looks a bit skeleton-ish, but you can clearly make out her head and spine.

This picture is a close-up of her head, and you can make out her ear, nose and mouth.

On the pregnancy front, everything seems to be progressing as it should. I have four more appointments at the hospital on Wednesday including one last ultrasound which is just a growth scan (well, I'm pretty sure it's the last one!) and also a tour around the birthing unit!! I find it almost scary that "that" part is coming up quite so quickly- she's due in just over three and a half months now!! WOW! She's been moving around a lot lately, but James still hasn't managed to feel her squirming. I was at the mall today and for the first time a sales assistant asked me when I was due :-) I just got James to take a couple of quick photographs of me and my belly- looking at them now I look quite hideous (not the belly, just the rest of me!) and am almost reluctant to post myself on the internet in such a state, but oh well! (My hair is badly in need of a cut and some kind of style but I'm getting it done tomorrow, so I'm quite excited about that!!)

There really hasn't been too much going on of late so I don't have too much to tell you. Our moving date has now been set at around August 13th, so providing it doesn't get delayed yet again, we'll be out of our house in another month or so. The prospect of moving while 6 months pregnant doesn't particularly appeal to me, but James was telling me that his mum did it when she was 6 months pregnant with Steven, so I'm sure I'll manage too!! I'll be so glad to finally be out of this house.

James is extremely relieved to finally have the last Harry Potter out of his hair- though funnily enough he was keen to look at the book at Dymocks today. For any of you Australians, pay particular attention to the dust jackets- James made most of them :-) Other than work which is driving him a bit crazy, James is doing fine. He's very much into his yoga and is still doing classes at least 4 - 5 times per week, and he is starting to see the benefits. Combined with going to the gym regularly, he's fighting fit right now.

I have now finished a fortnight of night shifts and I am actually really enjoying them! I'm much happier on nights, and just accepted another month on nights- so if I can get one more month, then I'll do nights until I go on leave. Other than work, things are all going well. We've been kind of boring lately, it's been so cold here (and between James' Harry Potter and 2 weekends in a row of overtime and my night shifts and bizarre sleeping patterns) we've been staying home a lot during our free time. Well, I did go out for a friend's 30th on Friday night, and last night we caught up with another friend- but in general we've been home-bodies- just us and the cats :-)
