Well, I decided it was time to succumb to the lure of the blog! Not only are group emails waaay outdated, I never seem to get around to writing them anyway... so here is my new attempt at staying in touch with those on the other side of the globe- let's see how long it lasts!! I promise I will endeavour to show diligence to my new pursuit!

Notice that I'm referring only to myself as the writer of this blog even though I'm writing on behalf of the both of us... those of you that waved James off when he left his homeland in search of new ventures "Down Under" will know just how well he's managed to keep in touch since he left 18 months ago- not that I haven't tried to prompt the correspondence, mind you (although he might call it "nagging", I would prefer to describe it as "gentle encouragement") but whatever you'd call it, he hasn't responded!!

In short, he loves you all a lot, and misses you all even more... but let's just say he's been very "busy"... for the last year and a half...
I had the bright idea to begin this blog at around midnight, and since it's now after one in the morning I should sign off and continue my ramblings tomorrow, at which time I will update you all on the current happenings in Adelaide- not to mention our US trip, which we have finally- amazingly- booked and paid for!! So we'll DEFINITELY be seeing you... on the 17th of December, to be exact!
