Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

Saturday, 25 November 2006

It seems that I have been a little bored, because I got to thinking about what life would be like as a cyborg. As you do.

If I was a cyborg, my name would actually be an acronym:

Cybernetic Operational Unit Responsible for Troubleshooting, Nullification and Efficient Yelling

Remarkably, it's quite accurate. Well, the "efficient yelling" part, anyway.

James' name would stand for:

Journeying Artificial Machine Engineered for Sabotage

Astonishingly, it is also quite accurate, hehe.

Methinks I need to get out more.

On that note, we were invited to a party tonight- a friend of a friend invited us last night. James has headed off to it, however I have decided to stay home. He thinks that I just don't want to go, but I'm actually not feeling 100%- nothing too sinister, just feel a bit "offish". I think it's the thought of all the housework that I have been talking about needing to do for the past week. Not only have I not done it, by now I have about twice as much to do as I originally had, and the thought of slogging through it all is making me feel queasy. Haha, listen to me, you'd think I was the only one who ever had to do some cleaning :-)

Last night we had our Thanksgiving Dinner. It was fantastic, thanks to Lynn and Ryan and Lynn's parents who generously donated their house as a venue! Once again, Lynn outdid herself with all the brilliant food and we left feeling extremely contented and ready for a big sleep (James tells me that it's the something-or-other in the turkey that makes you want to nap...?)

Tomorrow morning is the Glenelg Christmas Pageant- we know this for sure. It begins at 10.30am- we know this for sure too. Matt checked it on the website, so we cannot get our plans mixed up yet again!! (We weren't having a good run for a while there!) I will take the camera and post some photos, it'll be GREAT!

Hmm, okay then, I had better go and get some housework done tonight... urrgghhhh!!!

I totally feel you on the mountain of housework doubling. Now Emily isn't doing well. I'm barely back to normal. We are a solid week behind in just about everything, especially laundry, and yet, we keep on wearing the clothes and piling the mountain higher.
